A lid part (7) in whose centre a threaded neck (17) is integrally formed is placed on a sheet metal container (1). Mounted on the threaded neck (17) is a plastics or metal screw cap (13) with a device indicating that the container has been opened a first time. This device consists of a tamperproof strip (41) which is secured on the lower edge of the cap (13) and is connected to the lid part (7) in a non-detachable manner, for example sealed or welded. When the screw cap (13) is opened, the tamperproof strip (41) is completely or partially torn away from the screw cap (13).
