PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a device capable of stably holding an opening/closing body at the prescribed opening/closing angle even though its size is smaller than heretofore and low in manufacturing cost by constituting the device with first and second clip plates, an elastic means provided between the clip plates and a flange part to be pressed toward the first and second clip plate side and the like. SOLUTION: A rotary shaft 1 has a flange part 2 and a means fixed to a opening/closing side. A guide plate 3 has a means which is restrained at a side opposing to the flange part 2 of the rotary shaft 1 so as to be rotatably and fixed to the device body side. The first clip plate 5 is fixed to a guide plate 3 so as to be rotatably around the rotary shaft 1 with the guide plate 3. The second clip plate 6 is abutted to the first clip plate 5 and attached to the rotary shaft 1 so as to be not rotated and be slid in the direction of a shaft. An elastic means 7 is provided between the clip plates and the flange part 2 to be pressed toward the second clip plate 6 and the first clip plate 5 side.
