<p>A small-sized, high-efficiency, and low-noise AC generator for vehicle is obtained by eliminating the coil end interference by laminating coils in slots in two layers and improving the space factor. The AC generator (1) for vehicle is provided with a 16-pole Landel core type rotor (3) and a stator (2) having 96-pole tooth sections which are separated from each other by slots. A conductor segment is housed so as to separate all the slots into inner layers and outer layers and a total of 12 wave-winding coils is formed. Three-phase stator coils are constituted by connecting four each wave-winding coils in series. One-phase coil is constituted by connecting two coils housed in the same slot in series so that electric currents can flow in the same direction and respectively connecting the coils which are deviated from each other by an electrical angle of 30° in series to both ends of the connected coils.</p> |
