Recycling plant recovering paraffin(s) and microcrystalline wax from contaminated mixed waste polyolefin plastics
摘要

This novel process recovers paraffins and microcrystalline wax from mixed waste plastic, which consists predominately of polyolefins. The feed is melted down and pre-cracked at 350-390 deg C. Melt is partially recycled. Cracking is completed at 390-430 deg C with partial melt recycle and destructive distillation under normal pressures or vacuum. The new feature is introduction of the sheet fraction directly, using one or more presses, which force the sheet directly into the melt in the pre-cracker (5).
