The support frame (1) of the saw in the upper region of the support posts (2-5) has at least one guide rail (17,18) for at least one roller (58,59) and extends in the relative workpiece movement direction. At least one additional deflection roller, formed as a tensioning roller (43,44), is mounted on the frame and its rotation axis runs parallel to that of the other deflection rollers (38,39). A cable guide head (62,63) is fastened to corresponding guide elements (25,26) for the frame.
