The method involves placing a stack of supplements (2) in a holder (1), after which the supplements are taken from the stack one at a time and adhered to a passing object (12) by an adhesive. A film of adhesive (3), which is capable of rebonding, is applied to at least part of one side of each supplement before composing the stack of supplements. The objects are news papers or quires and that the supplements are adhered to pages of such news papers or quires. The supplements are separated from the stack one at a time by engaging a respective supplement at a place where no adhesive is present, after which the supplement is separated from the supplement being in contact with it in the stack by moving the contacting surfaces of the supplements apart in a direction perpendicularly to the surfaces. |
