In a foreign language dictionary, in the form of an information medium, words which differ by at least one letter are arranged in groups (4-10) containing a letter sequence from the end of the word to the beginning, making up at least one third of the letters in the word. Each word group is arranged in a sequence with another word group, whose letter sequence contains a maximum number of the same letters with the sequence above as the first word group. Descriptions are put between the groups or blank spaces of the information medium.
