PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install an outdoor machine of a split type air conditioner in close contact with a wall face of a building to save space by providing an outlet and an inlet in at least two side faces in such a manner that the inlet is formed in a face perpendicular to a face in which the outlet is formed. SOLUTION: This outdoor machine of a split type air conditioner has a boxshaped outdoor machine main body provided with inlets 8 formed in at least two opposite side faces or two neighboring side faces and an outlet formed in a face perpendicular to the inlet 8, and a blowing circuit provided within the machine and composed of the inlet 8, a centripetal fan 1, an orifice 5 surrounding the centripetal fin 1, a heat exchanger 3 and a front grill 6 arranged in this order from an upstream side of wind.
