PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular air bag device which is capable of controlling the direction in which an air bag swells out, by simple configuration, and which is capable of stabilizing the quality of products and effectively utilizing pressure fluid. SOLUTION: Plural, pressure fluid-blowing out openings 13a are formed on a cylindrical diffusor 13 forming an air bag storage space 16 in cooperation with an air bag lid 11, blowing direction shifting members 25, 26 for changing the blowing direction of pressure fluid introduced from the pressure fluid-blowing out openings into an air bag 17 are provided in the neighborhood of the pressure fluid-blowing out openings of the diffusor 13. An inflator 15 for blowing out pressure fluid is stored in the diffusor 13, and the pressure fluid blown off from the pressure fluid-blowing out openings 13a due to the operation of the inflator 15, is introduced into the air bag 17 stored in the air bag storage space 16 with a desired blowing angle by means of the blowing direction shifting members 25, 26. |
