PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve capacity per unit volume by including a carbonaceous aggregate having a structure that a plate-like carbonaceous substance which stores and releases lithium and on which the mole ratio of hydrogen to carbon is specified is three- dimensionally arranged, in a negative electrode of a secondary battery. SOLUTION: A carbonaceous aggregate having a structure that a plate-like carbonaceous substance which can store and release a lithium ion is three-dimensionally arranged, is included in a negative electrode of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery. The mole ratio (H/C) of a hydrogen atom of the plate-like carbonaceceus substance to a carbon atom is set to 0.2 to 0.4. A shape of the carbonaceous aggregate is formed into a shape, a fan-shaped column, a column or the like by dividing a rotary body, a sphere, an almost sphere or a rotary body obtained by rotating a sphere, an almost sphere and an ellipse with its major axis as the center at an optional rate. As the aggregate, it is desirably formed as a cross section on which at least a part of the plate-like carbonaceous substance is arranged in a radial shape or a cross section on which at least a part of the plate like carbonaceous substance is arranged in a radial shape from a central part of an arc. |
