PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus which automatically supplies a proper amount of bacterial consortia which biologically decompose oils and fats as to continuously and biologically decompose all of oils and fats still remaining in the inside of a ventilation fan. SOLUTION: Bacterial consortia which biologically decompose oils and fats are continuously mixed with air flow containing the oils and fats sent through an air discharge hood 1. The air discharge hood 1 is provided with a filter apparatus 11 having a narrow ventilation route 30 and the ventilation route 30 is installed immediate under a baffle filter 39 and the air flow is preferably distributed regularly through the whole surface area of the baffle filter 39. The hood 1 is so constituted as to generate swirling movement of the air flow.
