PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch the mode of a Japanese input system with voice without interrupting data input work by means of a keyboard. SOLUTION: A voice command utility program 32 transfers the voice signal of a user, which is inputted through a voice device driver 31, to a voice recognition engine 33. The voice recognition engine 33 refers to a voice dictionary 34 and selects a word which is optimum for the transferred voice signal. A command corresponding (for giving operation instruction to a Japanese input system 36) to the selected word is obtained from a grammar table 35 and it is returned to the voice command utility program 32. The voice command utility program 32 issues the command returned from the voice recognition engine 33. |
