摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain good electrostatic charge impartability and to stably form images having good quality in spite of continuous use for a long period of time by forming a coating layer of a composite plating layer formed by dispersing and incorporating fluorine compd. particulates therein. SOLUTION: The composite plating layer contg. the fluorine compd. particulates is held on the surfaces of carrier core material particles. This composite plating layer has the various characteristics of the fluorine compd. particulates dispersed in the layer and the characteristics of metallic plating in combination. In such a case, the particulates for the magnetic material dispersion carriers having an average grain size in a range of 0.05 to 1μm, more preferably 0.1 to 0.6μm are used. The magnetic material dispersion type carrier core materials or the metallic particles having an average grain size in a range of 10 to 500μm, more preferably 30 to 150μm are use. The examples of the fluorine compd. include graphite fluoride, fluororesin and pitch fluoride. The use thereof in combination of >=2 kinds is possible as well.</p>
