<p>A lining for a telephone handset cradle, including a fabric member configured and dimensioned to be inserted in the cradle portion of a telephone, the fabric member having a thickness which does not significantly raise the telephone handset from the cradle when the handset is positioned in the cradle, an antimicrobial treatment impregnated in the fabric member to prevent the growth and transmission of organisms and an adhesive coating formed on one side of the fabric member to facilitate permanent direct attachment of the fabric member to the handset cradle such that when the telephone handset is positioned in the cradle, a mouthpiece portion of the handset comes into direct contact with the fabric material and when the telephone handset is removed from the cradle the fabric member remains in the cradle.</p> |
