PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve earthquake resistance by reducing the height of a snap tap body as much as possible, to prevent the occurrence of electrical contact of a supply water pipe with a saddle and a cast iron main pipe when the supply water pipe is a metallic pipe, and prevent the occurrence of corrosion due to contact of a main pipe with a different kind of a metal. SOLUTION: A ball 20 having a three-way port 20a is rotatably arranged in a snap tap body 13 through a stem 21, and an annular holding body 25 is helically mounted on the snap tap body 13. A pair of ball seats are located between the annular holding body 25 and the internal part of the snap tap body 13 to form a cut-off mechanism 19. The cut-off mechanism 19 is formed such that structure independent from the saddle member 12 and a different function are provided.
