PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily emphasize the first character of a sentence by using the constitution of confirming whether or not a cursor is present in the sentence, retrieving the first character in the sentence by the cursor present in the sentence and emphasizing the retrieved character. SOLUTION: Whether or not an operator inputs a character emphasis instruction through an input part 61 is judged. In the case that the character emphasis instruction is inputted, whether or not the cursor is present in the sentence for which character data are inputted is confirmed through a cursor position confirmation part 64a. In the case that the cursor is present in the sentence, in order to detect the first character of the sentence, a first character recognition part 64b is activated. The first character recognition part 64b retrieves the character in the reverse order of character input from a present cursor position. Then, with an Enter key retrieved at first as a reference, the first character of the next row is recognized as the first character of the sentence. Then, a character processing part 65 performs an emphasis character processing to the first character. |
