PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a continuous operation of a power system facility available by providing each hardware element with program for executing a plurality of functions and, when one of the hardware elements has lost its functions, allowing either one of the other hardware elements to execute the lost functions of the hardware element and reproduce them, while executing its own functions. SOLUTION: This device has a hardware element 10 having a digital filter arithmetic processing function 12a, a hardware element 20 having a relay element arithmetic processing function 22b, a hardware element 30 having a sequence arithmetic processing function 32c, and a hardware element 40 having a displaying and setting arithmetic processing function 42d. The hardware elements 10, 20, 30, 40 have filter arithmetic programs 11a-41a, relay arithmetic programs 11b-41b, sequence arithmetic programs 11c-41c, and display arithmetic programs 11d-41d, respectively. For example, when the hardware element 30 having the sequence arithmetic processing function 32c becomes faulty, either one of the other elements 10, 20, 40 reproduces the sequence arithmetic processing function 32c. |
