PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve fixability and anti-offsetting property and to stably form a high quality image over a long period of time by specifying physical properties of a wax component as a constituent of a toner compsn. SOLUTION: This toner is formed using a compsn. contg. a dispersed wax component having 3-60 mgKOH/g acid value. In the mol.wt. distribution of the wax component by gel permeation chromatography, the wax component has the main peak in the mol.wt. range of 200-5,000 and the ratio (Mw/Mn) of the wt. average mol.wt. (Mw) to the number average mol.wt. (Mn) is 2-120. In the spectrum of the wax component measured with a nuclear magnetic resonance measuring device, the total area (S) of signals detected in the range of 0-50 ppm, the total area (S1 ) of signals detected in the range of 36-42 ppm and the total area (S2 ) of signals detected in the range of 10-17 ppm satisfy conditions represented by the formulae. |
