An end mill (10) has a cylindrical shank (12) with a longitudinal axis (22). Attached to the cylindrical shank (12) is a center flute (14) having a cutting edge (18) extending beyond the longitudinal axis (22). A non-center flute (16) is also attached to the cylindrical shank (12).
