Modular device for washing and wiping a vehicle windscreen

The modular device is fitted onto the bonnet of the vehicle and at the lower edge (14) of the windscreen (12). It is formed of two modules (18,20), which are assembled together and to the rest of the vehicle. One of the modules (18) contains the liquid used for washing the screen, and forms the reservoir for the other module. The second module (20) consists of a pair of units, which are mounted on each side of the central first module. Each contains wipers and jets to wash and clean the windscreens. These second modules also serve to support the external rear view mirrors (52).
