IMPROVEMENTS TO MACHINES PRODUCING ICE CREAM CONES

One of the improvements concerns the mechanism for cutting the continuous band of dough and consists in mounting on a support (1) a cutting cylinder (3) assisted by a cylinder (2) which pulls the wafer and by another cylinder (4) carring the dolly (7) on which actuates the knife (6) of the roller (3). These cylinders have a truncated configuration so that the pieces of wafer are trapezoidal. When the pieces of wafer are obtained by molding in the carrousel of the machine, a plurality of temperature sensors (32) are set at the periphery of such carrousel, which sensors send informations to a controller which governs a servo-valve (38) provided in the air duct (35), and governs at the same time a valve (44) for the passage of gas to the burners of the heater system which regulates the drying degree or level of the dough making the wafer. Additionally in the conformer itself, each male cone (65) incorporates a top (67) in collaboration with another top (68) which can rock and is associated with the machine frame and limit the travel of the envolving sleeve of each male cone while the core (71) thereof is maintained retracted, said sleeve (65) acting also as expulsing means for the conformed wafer cone.
