<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adequately ferment and treat a material to be treated in a fermentation tank in accordance with the characteristics of the material to be treated. SOLUTION: An agitation and transfer device 10 for transferring a material 8 to be treated into a fermentation tank 2 and for stirring is arranged in freely traveling. The agitation and transfer device 10 is controlled and driven by a control device 5. A pair of pulleys 11a 11b of the agitation and transfer device 10 travels at a prescribed movement speed Vm and a chain 12 between one pair of the pulleys 11a, 11b moves at a prescribed scoop speed Vs. The movement speed Vm of one pair of the pulleys 11a, 11b, the scoop speed Vs of the chain 12 and the chain angleϕof the chain 12 vary in accordance with the characteristics of the material to be treated.</p> |
