发明名称 PRODUCTION METHOD OF NICKEL HYDROXIDE
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of producing with a simple controlling and also continuously and easily a nickel hydroxide having the most suitable shape, grain size and tapping density for filling to a foamed metal type substrate being a positive electrode substrate of a secondary cell. SOLUTION: This device is composed of a reaction tank 4 in which a nickel salt aq. soln. 1, an ammonia aq. soln. 2 being 0.5-6 equivalent per 1 equivalent nickel and a caustic alkali aq. soln. 3 containing 0.9-1.5 equivalent caustic alkali are supplied simultaneously, continuously and at a fixed ratio and a variation width of these aq. soln. supply amounts are kept within ±5% to produce the nickel hydroxide 9 under a stirring condition, an aging tank 5 in which the nickel hydroxide particles and the aq. soln. are continuously supplied by overflowing from the reaction tank to age the particles under the stirring condition and a solid-liq. separation tank 6 in which the nickel hydroxide particles and the aq. soln. are continuously supplied by overflowing from the aging tank to continuously take out the nickel hydroxide and the aq. soln. 7 to the outside of the system. Furthermore, the nickel hydroxide 9 is produced by continuously supplying a part of the nickel hydroxide particles taken out of the solid-liq. separation tank to the reaction tank within ±5% variation width.
