<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring device which can be used simply and conveniently to measure a distance between a hole and a golf ball. SOLUTION: This measuring device used for golf game is provided with two or mode thin and long pipe elements 10, 11 and 12 which are mutually slidable as an expandable telescopic type. These elements are provided with measuring scales 27, 28 and 29 which are marked in lengthwise direction and has a unit corresponding to the diameter of standard golf ball. This device is used to confirm whether or not a ball is 'gimme' namely, whether or not a player is unnecessary to putt a ball to a hole in case where the ball is within in-advance agreed range of distance. The player presets the device at the agreed length and places it between the hole 31 and ball 30. If the actual distance is shorter than the device, the ball is judged to be 'gimme'.</p> |
