PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the electronic stringed instrument which is a completely new stringed instrument based upon a Chinese fiddle, a Japanese harp, etc., free of problem points of those Chinese fiddle, Japanese harp, etc., superior in playability, widened in playing extent, and applicable to a variety of musical performances, and generates a timbre by converting the vibration of strings into an electric signal like an electronic guitar. SOLUTION: The electronic stringed instrument 1 has its musical instrument body 5 composed of a neck part 3 where strings 2A and 2B are extended, an arm part 4 which extends almost at right angles to the neck part 3, and a hook 7 and then a player is able to stand and stably hold the musical instrument body 5 by hanging the musical instrument body 5 from the shoulders by suspending a looped suspension cord 6 coupled with the hook 7 from the neck while holding the musical instrument body 5 by applying the lower end part of the neck part 3 to nearby the belly part and the tip part of the arm part 4 to nearby the belly part. Further, the vibration of the strings 2A and 2B is converted into an electric signal to generate a timbre like an electric guitar and a unique timbre that can not be generated by a conventional Chinese fiddle, a Japanese harp, etc., can be generated. |
