PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an air cleaner to use even in summer without necessitating maintenance of an exchange etc. of a filter in which dust in air, contamination particles of mold and a contamination gas such as a volatile organic compound are decomposed and removed by heating in the air cleaner. SOLUTION: This air cleaner is constituted by being provided with a filter 11 for collecting and adsorbing contamination particles and a contamination gas and with a heating means 14 for heating the filter 11 in a ventilation path of the air cleaner. The contamination particles and the contamination gas collected and adsorbed with the filter 11 are burned with the heating means 14 to decompose them. Since the filter 11 is regenerated to an original state, the maintenance is not required and also since the heating means 14 is used only at a time of heating the filter 11, the consumption of electric power can be lessened and also rising of room temp. can be restrained and the device can be used even in summer. |
