<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the efficient production of a composite material, useful in the fields of coating materials, cosmetics, electronic parts, etc., and having desired functionality by binding a specific compound to a substrate and further binding the compound to a functional compound. SOLUTION: This composite material is obtained by binding (A) a compound, containing a group bindable to (B) a functional compound (e.g. an aliphatic or an aromatic hydrocarbon compound or a heterocyclic ring-containing type compound having a group which is, e.g. amino, carboxyl or OH or ruthenium) and having an aliphatic or an aromatic hydrocarbon group or a heterocyclic ring-containing type group (e.g. a silane compound in which the group bindable to the component B is a halogen or an epoxy) to a substrate (e.g. a platy or a granular material containing titanium oxide, strontium titanate, silicon oxide or germanium oxide) and further binding the components A to B.</p> |
