PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the waste of a web caused by the increase of web speed due to the increase of the circumference of a take-up roll by the taking-up of the web at a fixing unit subsystem at an electrophotographic printer or a copying machine provided with the web cleaning a fixing unit roll. SOLUTION: This device has the fixing unit roll 10 rotatable in one direction, at least one nip roll 12, the take-up roll 18, the web 14 and a driving wheel train 24 rotating the nip roll 12 in a direction opposed to the rotating direction of the fixing unit roll 10 by rotating the nip roll 12 and the take-up roll 18. Then, the driving wheel train 24 is provided with a slip clutch 26 linked with the take-up roll for controlling torque quantity used for the web 14 by the take-up roll 18. |
