摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively make the waste of' 'Shouchu∼(residue after distillation of the fermentation mixture) pollution-free by fermentation treatment and obtain an organic fertilizer of good quality. SOLUTION: Vegetable fibers as saw dust, shavings or chips are preliminarily fermented and the waste liquid Shouchu lees or filtration lees are added to the fermented vegetable fibers, then the mixture is fermented under stirring. The water content of the mixture is adjusted to about 60% at which the mixture can be readily fermented. The fermentation microorganism is desirably aerobic and the temperature is needed to be kept over 65 deg.C. When water reduces by evaporation and the fermentation temperature lowers to about 50 deg.C, the waste is admixed again to stir the mixture. The similar operations are repeated and the fermentation is continued for about 3-4 months to give an organic fertilizer of good quality.</p>
