PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate a fuel cell stably at all times, by preventing a cell voltage of the fuel cell from lowering markedly even when an output command is sharply increased. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with an inverter device 3 for converting direct current power 2 from a fuel cell 1 into alternating current power 4, an output detector 5 for detecting an output 4a of the alternating current power 4 from the inverter device 3, and an inverter output control circuit 8 which carries out control by putting out an output control signal 7 to the inverter device 3 so that the output 4a of the alternating current power 4 detected by the output detector 5 may agree with an output command 6. Further, this device is equipped with a function generator 10 for establishing a direct current upper limit value 9 corresponding to the output command 6 when the output command 6 is inputted thereinto, equipped with a current detector 12 for detecting a direct current value 11 of the direct current power 2 from the fuel cell 1, and equipped with a direct current upper limit value limiting circuit 13 for placing a limitation on the output control signal 7 from the inverter output control circuit 8 so that the direct current value 11 may not exceed the direct current upper limit value 9. |
