PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily prepare or edit a document by reflecting the information of a typeface or a shape to be print-outputted on display. SOLUTION: When the print typeface of a text is designated from an operating part 5 at the time of preparing a document by a document processing part 8, a character and graphic edition processing part 11 retrieves information related with each kind of typeface of a character to be printed stored in a character and graphic holding part 9, reads information related with the designated typeface, and stores it in the print output information storage area of an RAM 4. At the time of starting the preparation of the document, the character and graphic edition processing part 11 edits the type and arrangement of each character according to the information related with the typeface to be printed stored in the print output information storage area and information related with a display capability stored in a display capability information holding part 7, and successively displays the characters of the prepared document with the typeface to be printed at a display part 6. |
