PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent dust generated from a driving source from reaching the fiber coupling part of an optical switch. SOLUTION: In an optical switch provided with an array member 3 installing many optical fibers 1 on the fixed side, a movable part installing one or plural numbers of optical fibers 2 on the moving side and a driving mechanism for carrying the optical fiber on the moving side to a place confronting the optical fiber on the desired fixed side by driving the movable part, at least one driving source 5, the array member 3 installing the optical fiber 1 on the fixed side and the movable part such as the moving member 4 installing the optical fiber 2 on the moving side are isolated by a sealing part 10 such as an elastic thin film, installed in the hermetically sealed oil tanks 9, 8, respectively and made to penetrate through the sealing part 10 in the part of a rotary shaft 6 extended from the driving source. |
