Tape measure for measuring distances, angles and spacing

The measure has a tape (3) provided with a scale or scales wound on a spool (2) in a case (1). The measurement tape has a support tape (4) which also winds onto the spool. Both tapes or additional tapes are linked together by one or more couplings (5) so that when they are withdrawn from the case longitudinally they form a self-supporting profile which is resistant to bending. The two tapes can be wound on the spool next to one another or with the tapes partially overlapping.
