When sanitary and heating systems connections are made, a displaceable part is inserted into the connection box. After the depth of the fitting has been adjusted by moving the displaceable part forwards or upwards, a fastening plate is pushed into a groove in the displaceable part and is then fixed to the wall. The fastening plate processes the displaceable part on to the roughened surface of the connection box to prevent it moving inadvertently.
