The hospital bed support has a support table (1) which can be adjusted on a retaining body which hangs on an articulated arm (2) which is attached to a hospital bed. The articulated arm has a fastening element (3) for the retaining body. A first partial arm (4) is rotationally fixed to the fastening element via a first lockable hinged joint (6), which turns about a first axis (6.1). At the free end (4.1) of the first partial arm is a second partial arm (5), which is connected by a lockable hinged joint (7) and which can move about a second axis (7.1) which is parallel to the first axis. At the free end of the second arm is the support table, which can rotate about a third and fourth axis (8.1,8.2) and can be locked in position.
