<p>The tool case provides storage compartments (16) which may be used by the purchaser to store additional items which might be employed in conjunction with the tools stored in the tool case. The tool case has at least one recess (15), typically but not necessarily in the bottom surface thereof, to accommodate one ore more permanently or removably mounted storage compartments (16). In one embodiment, for example, a number of compartments are pivotably mounted within the recess, and are connected to each other so that they pivot in unison. Particularly where the compartments are removably mounted, they may be provided in a variety of modular configurations to enable the manufacturer to provide the consumer with a variety of choices.</p> |
