<p>The invention concerns a method for treating a bicycle frame (1), consisting of hollow tubes welded together, with at least one step whereby it is held by a suspending zone, immersed in the treatment bath, removed therefrom and drained. The invention is characterised in that a preliminary step consists in boring holes (11-19) in one part of the tubes (2-6, 8, 10) constituting the frame (1) to be treated, the location and dimensions of said holes being such that, after the frame (1) is produced by welding the tubes together, said tubes form as a result of first inner holes (11-17) and second outer holes (18, 19) a continuous internal circuit for the treatment bath penetration and evacuation when the frame (1) held by the suspending zone (2) is immersed in the bath and drained, the second outer holes (18, 19), present or bored during the preliminary step, being located in the zone opposite the suspending zone (2) and forming terminal evacuating orifices.</p> |
