A method for the manufacture of cathodes for molten carbonate fuel cells, containing lithium cobaltite, includes a step in which a mixture containing powdered cobalt, lithium carbonate, binder, anti-foaming agent and solvent, is spread over a flat surface using the tape casting technique, and a subsequent heat-treatment step which causes the formation of lithium cobaltite and partial sintering of the cathode, producing a porosity compatible with correct operation of the cathode itself in molten carbonate fuel cells. |
