摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent corrective image quality from deteriorating due to a noise and fluctuation of video. SOLUTION: A PDP displaying a multi-level image by a sub-field method is provided with a motion vector detection part 10, a motion vector delay part 18 obtaining motion vectors of respective pixels in a setting range S containing an attentional pixel, a counting part 22 counting the number of pixels of the existence of motion vector in the setting range S, a comparison part 24 comparing a count value K with a setting value Q, a fill-up part 28 outputting the motion vector of a prescribed pixel (e.g. left adjacent pixel) in the setting range S as the same of the notable pixel when the motion vector of the attentional pixel by the detection part 10 is absent, and the output of the comparison part 24 is existent and a dynamic image correction part 14 outputting a signal correcting display positions of respective sub-fields of the attenional pixel by this motion vector to the PDP. Then, even when the motion vector of the attentional pixel (e) to be detected substantially in the detection part 10 is not detected due to the noise and fluctuation of the video, the moving image of the pixel (e) is corrected by the motion vector of the prescribed pixel within the set range S.
