<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device that can control both moving direction and speed of a cursor, etc., on a display device even in a small space according to the tilting direction of the input device by detecting this tilting direction and giving the tilt information to an information equipment as the information on the moving direction. SOLUTION: A disk 13 is divided into a light shielding part and a light transmitting part, and a weight 51 is always positioned right under the disk 13. Thus, the light received from a light emitting element is shielded in a parallel state of an input device. Then, an angleαis set between the line connecting the position of a light receiving element 33A to the center of a rotary shaft 4 and the border line set between the light shielding and transmitting parts in the parallel state of the input device. Meanwhile, an angleθis set when the input device is tilted. Under such conditions, when the angleθis larger than the angleα, the light of the light emitting element is transmitted through the disk 13 and detected by the element 33A for detection of the tilt information. Then, the tilt information can be detected in eight directions or more when the disks 13 are attached in two directions which are orthogonal to each other. These tilt information are given to an information equipment as the information on the moving direction.</p> |
