PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically issue an unsupported passbook/bond or the like, to attain down sizing, cost reduction and high speed processing for the passbook handling device and to improve its operability by printing out printing image data on an unused white passbook or the like for an item passbook or the like requested to be newly issued and automatically issuing the required new passbook. SOLUTION: An arithmetic circuit 121 checks the completion of printing up to the final line of the final page of a current passbook 107 from a page number and a line number stored in a register 120, and when transaction data to be printed are left, transmits a signal indicating the automatic issuing processing of a new passbook and instructs a control circuit 117 to issue a new passbook 108. The control circuit 117 selects a hopper including the item passbook to be automatically issued and delivers an unused passbook from the selected hopper. New passbook automatic issue processing such as the printing of a cover, the printing of medium sheets and the updating of magnetic stripe information is executed and a new passbook 108 is ejected. |
