PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication equipment to which AC power can be supplied through a DTE (data terminal) equipment independently of the supply voltage state of a battery pack. SOLUTION: When power supply from an AC adapter external power source 60 is detected in a DTE equipment 30, this information is sent to a non-telephone communication card 20. When receiving information as power supply from the AC adapter external power source 60, the nontelephone communication card 20 turns on a switch to permit power supply to a mobile communication equipment 10. When power supply from the external power source is detected in the mobile communication equipment 10, power supply from a battery pack 40 is switched to that from the external power source.
