Light protection agent combination forming stable emulsion, especially oil-in-water emulsion

Light protection agent comprises a combination of (a) ultraviolet (UV) filter substance(s) (I) containing sulphonic acid or sulphonate group(s) and (b) partial glyceride(s) of succinic acid of formula (II); in which R, R', R", R"' = H or 1-26 C alkanoyl. Also claimed is the use of surfactant(s) of type (II) to stabilise or increase the stability of emulsions, especially oil-in-water (O/W) emulsions, in the presence of electrolytes, especially (I), particularly when the ion strength in the aqueous phase(s) in which the electrolyte is dissolved is /- 0.05 mole/l.
