Location determination system for rail vehicle

The system includes an antenna whose dimensions are adapted to the distance between intersections of a rail line-conductor. Preferably, the dimension of the antenna in the direction of the line conductor corresponds to the single- or multiple-spacing of two adjacent intersections. The antenna consists of at least two electrically connected antenna parts. Each part has a dimension in the direction of the conductor which corresponds to the spacing to the spacing between two adjacent intersections.
