摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating material whose vulcanization can be effected under the normal pressure without generating the foaming of rubber and for which the coating on an unvulcanized rubber surface and releasing after vulcanizing are easy when an unvulcanized rubber is vulcanized and a vulcanized rubber hose or a vulcanized rubber insulated power cable is manufactured. SOLUTION: A coating material for vulcanizing a rubber hose or a power cable insulated layer is composed of a 4-methyl-1-pentane polymer film having the orientation coefficient in the film longitudinal direction found by X-ray diffraction of 0.75 or more and preferably the shrinkage factor (r) in the longitudinal direction at the time of heating at 160 deg.C for 30 minutes or more, and the shrinkage stress in the longitudinal direction at the time of heating at 160 deg.C for 30 minutes of 0.1 MPa or more. The 4-methyl-1-pentane polymer film is wound on the surface of unvulcanized molded body by containing a vulcanizer and then vulcanized to manufacture the rubber hose or the power cable insulated layer in the vulcanizing method.
