PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a voltage impressed to a back electrode and act a control operation to toners passing every gate, by impressing to an opposite electrode a first potential drawing image formation particles and a second potential different in level from the first potential. SOLUTION: An opposite electrode power source 52 is formed in a circuit constitution wherein an output of a potential of a higher level of two potentials, that is, a potential in a direction in which a toner 12 is drawn is divided via a resistor, thereby obtaining another potential drawing the toner 12 and decelerating a speed of the toner. The two potentials can be obtained in a considerably simple constitution, thereby achieving a cost reduction. Levels of the potential in the direction in which the toner 12 is drawn and the potential drawing the toner 12 and decelerating the speed, and times while the potential in the draw direction is applied and while the potential drawing the toner 12 and decelerating the speed of the toner can be suitably changed in accordance with a characteristic value of the toner 12, a printing speed, etc. |
