PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a construction method for constructing an emergency parking zone in a road tunnel consisting of shield tunnels and, at the same time, to ensure a broad space without having a post interfering with traffic inside the space of the shield tunnels or a widening section. SOLUTION: Two shield tunnels 13A and 13B parallel with each other are bent to form so that separation is enlarged in a specific section, a space between two shield tunnels in the section is excavated to form the widening section, a carriage main track is extended in the widening section, and an emergency parking zone is formed on the left side forward in a road tunnel in the section. In two shield tunnels parallel with each other, openings are formed in opposite positions in the specific section for enlarging the separation, the widening section is formed between the openings, a partition wall 19 is provided in the central part of the widening section, beams 18a and 18b are projected to both directions intersected with the tunnel axis from the partition wall 19, and the opening ends 24a and 24b are borne on the beams 18a and 18b. |
