PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packet-switching system which is suitable for practical use, capable of arbitrarily selecting a packet switchboard for housing a packet multiplexer and easily changing constitution information. SOLUTION: In a state, where a packet multiplexer 13 is not no longer housed in the packet switchboard 11, by selecting a desired packet switchboard (191, for instance) from the plural packet switchboards 191-19n and informing and registering the constitution information 17 registered to the packet multiplexer 13 to the selected packet switchboard 191, the packet multiplexer 13 is housed in the selected packet switchboard 191. |
