The present invention encompasses hard surface cleaning compositions comprising highly ethoxylated nonionic surfactants, possibly in mixture with anionic surfactants. The present invention also encompasses a method of cleaning a hard surface wherein said composition are diluted in water and applied to said hard surface. The present invention also encompasses the diluted cleaning composition obtained in the method according to the present inv ention.
