<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food container and an easy-to-unseal lid for the food container which escape vapor pressure produced in the container and surely prevents container deformation/breakage and contents shape-distortion/damage/ scatter even when the container is put into a microwave oven as it is and heated for cooking. SOLUTION: In the container, a base paper forming a container main body 1 and a base paper forming a lid 4 each are laminated one obtained by bonding a thermoplastic synthetic resin film to both or one side of the base paper. In the opening of the food container where the both are joined together under heat, the thermoplastic synthetic resin film of the lid is formed from a multilayer resin film 5, and, further, a continuous or discontinuous half-cut line 7 consisting of, for example, cut, groove, or score, made in the first layer of the multilayer resin film 5, is provided along the peripheral edge of the lid.</p> |
